I also illustrated the Bestiary's main cover! I was given creative freedom by PILLA's creator, Rafael Maldonado Bad-hand to come up with something fun and eye catching. Dog Dog looks into a nook and finds a pair of nesting Blood Birds who are equally surprised to see him.
Far off into the background are the eerie glowing eyes of a Rot Rabbit, foreshadowing trouble on the horizon.

It's planned that the book will be getting a public release later this year (2026)!
